NBA in joint venture to build arenas in China
LONDON, 8:37 a.m. Oct. 12 (AP)
The NBA has formed a joint venture with Anschutz Entertainment Group to design and develop multipurpose, NBA-style arenas in major Chinese cities.
The official announcement of the partnership was to be made later Sunday at the O2 Arena in London, where the New Jersey Nets and Miami Heat were to play a preseason game. AEG runs the O2.
