FRESNO – Fourteen members of a street gang have been indicted in federal court on drug dealing charges.

Nine members of Fresno's Villa Posse gang were formally charged under the indictment Thursday, when warrants were issued for five others.

The seven-month investigation was a joint effort by city, state and federal law enforcement officials.

Authorities say Villa Posse operated out of the Best Budget Motel in south Fresno and distributed methamphetamine, crack and marijuana throughout the city.
