Now in its 21st year, the event is run by Veterans Village of San Diego and serves about 700 people over three days.
Volunteers will provide medical and dental care, substance abuse counseling, food, clothing, showering facilities, haircuts, legal advice,
veterans benefits and help with job placement, according to organizers.
Participants will stay in a tent community erected on the athletic fields at San Diego High School by active duty military volunteers.
