CHULA VISTA – Police were looking for two masked men, one armed with a gun, who robbed a credit union Thursday.
The robbery occurred about 10:30 a.m. at USE Credit Union on Medical Center Drive near East Palomar Street, said Bernard Gonzales, a Chula Vista police spokesman.
Witnesses told police one of the men showed a handgun in his pocket and demanded cash. They were given an undisclosed amount of money. The robbers ran out of the bank and jumped into a silver BMW sedan that sped away.
No one was injured.
Both robbers were black and wore black ski masks and gloves with white tips, Gonzales said.
One of the robbers was about 6 feet tall and wore black pants, a gray jacket with white sleeves, and white tennis shoes.
